Luceo to be Featured in the Look3 Theater

We’re very happy to announce that Luceo will be debuting a group project in the Look3 Theater this week. We are all pleased to have had the chance to collaborate with Syracuse University’s very own Bruce Strong and two of his students, Brad Horn and Brian Dawson, in putting together our little contribution to the event. David Walter Banks and Matt Eich will also have projects featured in the Slideluck Potshow viewing at Rapture Thursday night. For folks coming to Look3, we’re all looking forward to catching up.

Major General Mark Graham and his wife, Carol, sit for portraits after speaking about the deaths of their two sons in their Fort Carson home in Colorado Springs, Colo. Their son, Second Lt. Jeff Graham was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq just months after their other son, ROTC Cadet Kevin Graham, committed suicide in his apartment. Since Kevin’s suicide, the Grahams have been outspoken advocates for suicide prevention. The article discusses a marked increase in military suicides and the Grahams’ involvement in suicide prevention and education.

Slaby recently travelled to Arizona to photograph fomer GITMO guard, Terry Holdbrooks, for this week’s issue of Newsweek. Holdbrooks converted to Islam, in part, because of his experiences at the detention facility. The article about is available online, here.
